Beautiful Hatta
A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I took a little road trip up to the mountains. We headed to the small town of Hatta to check out the dam. And wow was I blown away! I’ve been living in the UAE for almost two years now and I am very used to the scarce landscape. I know there are a lot of mountains in the Northeast of the country but I’ve yet to make it there, until now! Hatta is about 1.45 hours from Dubai which is such an easy little road trip, just have a playlist ready and rock out the whole way there!
It is so hot at the moment so we didn’t spend too long there but we will definitely be making a trip back when it’s cooler for a kayak around the lake, I can’t wait! You can also check out the heritage village while you’re there!
So while we were there, we thought we might as well take some outfit photos. We couldn’t really get close to the lake as there were signs everywhere telling us not to cross the fence, I was ready to hop over but my boyfriend being all responsible wouldn’t let me! What a drag! We ended up taking most of the photos just kinda in front of a mountain, but hey something different.
As of late, I am kind of obsessed with the colour yellow. I have yellow pants, yellow tshirts, yellow dresses and a yellow suitcase. It’s getting a bit much, but I can’t help it! These pants are perfect for summer, so comfy and so light. Picked these up in Splash for next to nothing! Seriously if you’re living in the UAE you need to check out Splash, sure, a lot of their pieces are quite questionable but you can find little gems like this if you really search.

Just hanging out on the side of this mountain, real casual like;

Patches are from Berskha
I paired it with some sandals and a demin jacket both from Pennys (Primark), the t-shirt is from Zara. The necklace is from etsy, sunglasses from a market in Kuala Lumpur and the handbag from a market in Majorca.
Have you visited Hatta? Did you hop the fence? Show me your photos and make me jealous in the comments! If you’re interested in more posts from me you can check out more travel posts here and outfit posts here and thanks for reading!
